Booking and Payment
Tours must be booked in advance via email, telephone, or the company website. A booking is confirmed once the customer receives a confirmation message. Payment is made via invoice or in advance through the booking system, unless otherwise agreed.
Equipment and Safety
Participants must consider the physical requirements of the chosen tour. Customers must follow the guide’s safety instructions throughout the tour. Korpi Gravel holds liability insurance. Customers are responsible for their own personal travel insurance.
Customers are responsible for ensuring their own equipment is suitable for the tour and are liable for any damage to their own equipment during the trip. Customers must handle rented or provided equipment with care. Any damages will be compensated on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing (email or SMS).
- Over 7 days before the tour: 100% refund.
- 7–2 days before the tour: 50% refund.
- Less than 48 hours before the tour or no-show: No refund.
In case of sudden illness, cancellations may be accepted without charge upon presentation of a
medical certificate.
Right to Cancel by the Company
A tour may be cancelled if:
- Weather conditions make a safe tour impossible.
- An unexpected mechanical failure occurs in the equipment used.
- Participant safety cannot otherwise be guaranteed.
In these cases, the customer is offered a new tour time or a full refund.
Force Majeure
Korpi Gravel is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., storms, forest fire warnings, power outages, illness, or government restrictions). In such cases, the payment will be refunded, minus any costs already incurred.
PLEASE NOTE: All tours are generally "open programs."
